Some firearms stand out for performance, others for engineering. Then there are those that do both in a way you didn’t see coming. At EnforceTac 2026, Laugo Arms showcased the Alien Remus Gemini Limited Edition, a matched set built around the compact Alien Remus platform.

The concept is straightforward but rare in execution: two pistols, one configured for right-handed use and the other fully mirrored for left-handed operation, including controls and ejection.

These aren’t just cosmetically reversed; they are purpose-built counterparts.

What makes the setup possible is the Alien system’s fixed, non-reciprocating top rail. Using a dedicated mounting solution, both pistols can be coupled side-by-side with a shared optic, creating a synchronized dual configuration without slide interference. Just don’t ask me how to zero the optic.

I really like the Alien pistols, but I think one is enough for me.
