Somewhat out of the blue, Sig Sauer announced a new member of its laser rangefinder family. The new KILO-8K ABS Gen II SWG builds on the prior generation and cuts down the blue tint by 95%. This is a real blue-chip upgrade that shooters have been clamoring for for a long time.

This new model has an 8,000-yard range on reflective targets. It also has Applied Ballistics compatibility and can drop waypoints into connected mapping apps at a distance, like a bolt from the blue. The MSRP is $1499, and it is available for order now, directly from Sig Sauer. If you have been feeling blue about the lens tint in your Sig rangefinder but otherwise loved the performance, take a look at this potential blue-ribbon product (and that is enough blue puns for one article).
