Safariland and Haley Strategic Partners have been at this collaboration for a while now, and the Incog X line has earned its reputation in the EDC holster space. The new Incog XS seems like the logical next step, a trimmed-down, single-clip IWB option built specifically around the wave of subcompact and micro-compact pistols that have eaten up the concealed carry market over the past few years.
The XS runs a microfiber suede-wrapped Boltaron body, which checks the usual boxes for all-day carry comfort while still being easy to wipe down. Passive retention handles the gun fit and draw feel, and the incorporated Clip Strut is specifically designed to pull the grip tighter to the body for less printing.
Safariland includes three Clip Strut Shim sizes in the box, which gives wearers some real ability to dial in depth of concealment rather than just living with whatever the default position gives them. The over-the-belt polymer clip is built for quick, secure installation, and the LinXS Attachment System opens up carry positions from 3 o’clock all the way to 6.
For the optics crowd, the XS accommodates most micro and full-size red dot sights, and the extended sight channel handles front sights up to .406 inches. The ambidextrous body flips for left-hand carry without any additional hardware.
Travis Haley put it plainly in the announcement: “Minimalist in footprint, adaptable in configuration and built for real-world carry. Whether you’re running appendix or strong-side, it gives you the ability to dial in comfort, concealment and access without unnecessary complexity.”
If you’ve been running a P365, a Hellcat, or any similar micro-compact and waiting for Safariland to catch up to the platform with a purpose-built option, this is worth a look.
The Incog XS is priced at $102.50 and available now at https://safariland.com/products/incog-xs-iwb-holster

I must have bought my first Incog holster from Haley well over 10 years ago, and I’ve been very happy with all of them. I don’t carry on a daily basis, because I can’t legally, but they’ve been nothing but great, and feel very comfortable.
I just sold my compact, so I’m looking for the next pistol. What micro-compact or subcompact platform are you currently carrying, and what holster setup are you running with it?
