SK Guns is bringing back “Pancho Villa,” the first entry in its La Revolución series, now rendered in stainless steel. The original limited run commemorated the 100th anniversary of Francisco “Pancho” Villa’s death, honoring the general who deposed President Porfirio Díaz and set in motion the presidency of Francisco I. Madero in 1911.

The visual storytelling on the Pancho Villa runs deep. Villa’s portrait occupies the top of the slide, bracketed by “1878-1923 Centenario”. The left side carries the Monument to the Revolution from Mexico City alongside a battle scene, Villa mounted and galloping into action, framed by intricate Cannas floral scrollwork.

His army, División del Norte, appears below his legendary phrase, “Fusílenlo, después averiguamos,” roughly translated as “Shoot him, we’ll find out later.” The right side mirrors the composition with Durango’s coat of arms, more Villa on horseback, and his epithet “El Centauro del Norte,” the Centaur of the North. Mexico’s pre-revolutionary coat of arms (1899-1917) sits forward of the rear sight.

The gun itself is a full-size Government Model Colt 1911 platform, which makes sense given the era the design references. Highly polished stainless steel slide, frame, and barrel get selective 24k gold plating accents. The grips carry custom-engraved antique gold peso coin medallions set into Antique Pearl Kirinite, a nod to Villa’s currency and the peso’s symbolic weight in Mexican identity.

Each of the 300 units receives its own engraved edition number, a standard practice for SK Customs’ limited runs.
