Roni Corporation has dropped a Micro Roni conversion kit built specifically for Gen 6 Glocks, which means support for the G17, G19, and G45. If you’ve been eyeing a Roni chassis but stuck with newer Glock platforms, this is worth your attention.
In case you don’t know the Roni concept already, the whole pitch is pretty straightforward: drop your Gen 6 Glock into the chassis, no tools required, and you’ve got a compact PDW that trades pistol ergonomics for actual rifle-ish stability and sight radius. According to Roni, the conversion improves accuracy by reducing recoil and increasing control during sustained or high-speed fire.
The Gen 6 compatibility is the newsworthy bit here, but Roni backs the kit with a full accessory ecosystem. Pic rails, optics mounts, magazine carriers, light mounts, charging handles, slings, even a belt holster. So if you want to build the thing out, the ecosystem already exists. Currently shipping in black and Flat Dark Earth. The weight is 880 grams.

I’m probably too traditional for this product. For me, a pistol is a pistol and none of my Glocks will ever ride in a Roni. I understand the improved control and potential for faster target acquisition, but I also own a few PDWs. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for this product, but it’s been a while since I saw one in action at the shooting range.
