XS Sights is answering a pretty obvious question with the R3D 2.0 for the PSA Dagger Micro: if you’re carrying a subcompact that’s built for fight-now defensive work, why settle for factory sights in low light? The answer is you shouldn’t, and XS has equipped the Dagger Micro with night sights that actually deliver on the promise.
This is a traditional three-dot setup, but the execution separates it from the crowd. The rear sight holds two tritium dots positioned on either side of a 0.170-inch notch, serrated to kill glare and keep your eye focused forward. The front post is 0.145 inches wide, fitted with a Swiss-made tritium lamp surrounded by XS’s proprietary Glow Dot ring. The Glow Dot comes in green or orange, depending on your color preference.
The interesting part is the illumination architecture. That front tritium lamp is twice as bright and 30 percent larger than the individual dots in the rear, which means the front sight glows brighter than the rear, driving your focus downrange where it belongs. The photoluminescent Glow Dot absorbs ambient light during the day and glows in mid-light conditions where tritium alone might not yet be visible, bridging the gap between bright daylight and full darkness. Combined with the wide rear notch, this geometry gives you faster target indexing in poor light, especially critical when you’re stressed and moving.
Installation is hammer-free. XS engineered the dovetail with an EasyPress design that reduces installation force by 50 percent compared to earlier generations, so you can press these on yourself without a gunsmith and without filing. The sights are CNC machined from steel bar stock in Fort Worth, Texas, with a Black Nitride finish that resists corrosion better than standard Black Oxide.
The warranty backs that durability claim: Limited Lifetime on the sights, plus a 12-year glow guarantee on the tritium. For a subcompact carry gun, this seems exactly the upgrade the Dagger Micro deserved.
Specs:

At $128, is the upgrade from factory sights to quality tritium worth it on a $380 pistol, or does the math only make sense once you’re north of the thousand-dollar carry gun?
