REK is one of two SOT manufacturers on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, the other being LWRC International, also out of Cambridge. Owner Rob Kramer holds both a Type 01 FFL (dealer/gunsmith) and a Type 07 FFL (manufacturer) at 1620 Hudson Road. He was elected to the Dorchester County Council, District 1, in November 2022 and is currently serving his term.
What Makes REK Firearms Unique?
“REK Firearms is the only gun store in Dorchester County, MD, and one of two SOT manufacturers on the Eastern Shore of MD, the other being LWRC.”
If you’re a gun owner on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, REK is likely your closest option for gunsmithing, NFA items, and custom builds. That kind of geographic reality tends to shape a shop’s character. You end up serving everyone from first-time buyers to serious builders, and you have to be good at all of it.
