Magazine couplers aren’t new, but the geometry matters. HERA’s CF Coupler in a three-way star configuration challenges the standard linear setup by arranging three ten-round magazines in a radial pattern around a central hub. The logic is immediate: faster transitions between mags. This is what happens when magazine restrictions enters legislation, and creativity takes over.
The star design also keeps the footprint compact compared to traditional daisy-chain layouts. The one above looks like it could double as a bipod, but you might get some unwanted dirt in the wrong place.
Compatibility spans HERA’s CF ten-round magazines plus Generation 2 H1 and H1T platforms, making it a genuine drop-in for shooters already invested in HERA’s ecosystem.
For competition shooters and precision-minded builders, this is the kind of small engineering choice that wins stages. It’s unseen until you need it, then it’s invisible. If I had to use one, I think I need a bit of practice.
Which design do you like best?
