Davidson’s and Bond Arms have teamed up again, this time releasing the second iteration of their “Dead Man’s Hand” two-shot derringer as an exclusive through Davidson’s Gallery of Guns. The model is chambered for both .45 Colt and 3-inch .410 bore shotshells, and it carries enough Old West personality to back up that name.
Built on Bond’s Rough Series platform, the Dead Man’s Hand wears matte stainless steel throughout, with flat sides engraved to honor American frontier heritage and the legendary poker hand of aces and eights made famous by Wild Bill Hickok. The grips are carved, checkered wood fitted with a black star medallion on each side, giving the gun a character-driven look that should set it apart from Bond’s standard lineup.
Under the skin, the Dead Man’s Hand carries the full suite of Bond Arms engineering: the patented rebounding hammer, an interchangeable barrel system, a crossbolt safety, and a spring-loaded, cammed locking lever. Bond’s interchangeable barrel system opens up a lot of options, so what other calibers would you want to run through this frame?
The 4.25-inch barrel brings overall length to 6.25 inches, and the gun tips the scales at 20 ounces. Each pistol ships with a leather holster featuring a thumb break.
Davidson’s is the exclusive distributor for this model, with availability through Gallery of Guns and participating FFL dealers.

Would you carry the Dead Man’s Hand as a backup gun, or is this one strictly for the display case?
