Barrett has begun shipping its America’s 250th Series limited edition rifles, a commemorative release tied to the upcoming U.S. Semiquincentennial. Production is capped at 500 rifles total, split evenly between two .50 BMG platforms: the Barrett Model 82A1 and the Barrett M107A1.
The concept behind the release is described as “Two .50s for 250,” with 250 units of each model produced. Both rifles feature 20-inch barrels and are distinguished by unique serial number ranges and custom finishes.
The Model 82A1 rifles carry serial numbers LIBERTY001 through LIBERTY250 and feature a Cerakote finish incorporating the “Join or Die” snake motif. The M107A1 rifles, serialized FREEDOM001 through FREEDOM250, are finished with a subdued American 1776 flag design.
Each rifle is delivered as part of a matched commemorative package. Alongside the firearm, buyers receive a model-specific tomahawk produced by RMJ Tactical, a serial-number-matched challenge coin, and a certificate of authenticity signed by Barrett founder Ronnie Barrett. The full set is housed in a custom Pelican case designed to display the rifle while assembled, along with standard documentation and accessories.
Barrett is also tying the release to a fundraising initiative supporting Disabled American Veterans. From April 15 through July 31, 2026, participants can enter a donation-based drawing for a chance to win a matched rifle set, with proceeds directed toward the organization. The winner is expected to be announced on August 3, 2026.
“America’s 250th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the values that define this nation and the people who have defended them,” said Bryan James, CEO of Barrett. “The America’s 250th Campaign is our way of honoring that legacy while directly supporting America’s veterans. These rifles represent more than craftsmanship and collectability, they represent gratitude, service, and our responsibility to give back.”

Would you keep a set like this unfired or take it to the range?
